The two detached cottages, each
with two bedrooms, are situated in private and sheltered gardens adjacent
to the beach in Talland Bay. Talland is a refreshingly unspoilt coastal
hamlet which lies midway beween Looe and Polperro in an area of outstanding
natural beauty. The bay is a rocky cradle of pebble beach and sand with a further good stretch of sand at low tide. It offers safe bathing and a multitude of rock pools for children to explore. From the bay, delightful walks can be enjoyed along the Cornish Coastal Path to either the busy fishing port of Looe or the quaint and picturesque fishing village of Polperro. The cottages offer a high standard of accommodation and lovely views over Talland Bay - the perfect location for a traditional beach holiday, for walking the beautiful coastal paths and for visiting the area's many attractions - e.g. Cornwall's biggest attraction,The Eden Project, is just 22 miles away. Garden Cottage - delightful kitchen/living room. Wood-burning fire, logs provided. Lcd TV + DVD player. Storage heater and electric fire. The new fitted kitchen has electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, auto washing machine, iron, toaster etc. Bedroom with double divan, duvet & linen. Second large bedroom with twin divans + slide-out guest bed, duvets & linen. Bedrooms have storage heaters. Brand-new bathroom with full suite and shower over shower-bath, heated towel rail. Seaview Cottage - similarly equipped kitchen and bathroom (both also newly fitted). Large lounge with views over bay, electric fire and storage heater, Lcd TV + DVD player. Folding guest bed. Two bedrooms - one double, one twin. The separate sheltered garden areas with BBQ's, chairs and picnic tables offer privacy for relaxing and unwinding. A further elevated lawned garden enjoys spectacular views over the bay. There is reserved parking in the adjoining private car park for 1 car per Cottage. Nearby, 2 small Beach Cafes serve Cornish Pasties, Cream Teas and Ice Cream from Easter to October.1 cafe is licensed and holds Barbeques on summer evenings. Tariff & Availability: click here Bookings are from Saturday 2.30pm to Saturday 10am. No dogs allowed. Max occupancy per cottage is 5. A deposit of 25% is required at time of booking.
